Cleveland Indians Mess with Corey Kluber During Live Interview

Cleveland Indians pitcher Corey Kluber was being interviewed during Tuesday’s game against the Detroit Tigers when his teammates decided to have some fun with him.

During the interview, Indians teammates threw seeds, powder and water at him. You can see all of the hijinks in the video below.

The Indians won the game 6-2.

Mike Napoli Turns Double Play While Ball Is Stuck in Glove

A strange moment happened during Friday night’s game between the Boston Red Sox and Detroit Tigers, but fortunately for first baseman Mike Napoli, everything worked out.

After Victor Martinez hit a ground ball to Napoli, he was able to touch first base for the first out but was unable to get the ball out of his glove, as it was stuck in the webbing. Luckily, Napoli was still able to tag out Miguel Cabrera for the double play. You can see a video of the play below.

The Tigers went on to win the game 1-0 thanks to a great outing from Max Scherzer.

CM Punk Leads 7th-Inning Stretch at Wrigley Field

The seventh-inning stretch at Wrigley Field is a great tradition that usually involves special guests singing “Take Me Out to the Ballgame,” and they had another great guest on Saturday.

WWE wrestler CM Punk led the song during the seventh inning of Saturday’s game against the Milwaukee Brewers, giving a special shout-out to the Chicago Blackhawks before he started to sing. You can see the video below.

Rays’ David Price and Angels’ Luis Jimenez Compete in Cow Milking Contest

In honor of Dairy Night at Angel Stadium of Anaheim on Friday, the Los Angeles Angels decided to host a friendly competition against their opponents, the Tampa Bay Rays.

Watch the video below as Luis Jimenez and David Price compete in a cow milking contest.

Before the contest, Price went to Twitter to ask for advice.

Jimenez came out with the win in the contest, but the Rays won the game 3-0.

Boy Battling Leukemia Treated to Epic Day Thanks to Make-a-Wish Foundation

The Kansas City Royals and the Make-A-Wish foundation in Missouri made 6-year-old Isai Rojas a very happy kid on Friday, as he had an experience he’ll never forget.

Rojas became Muchacho de Hierro on Friday, saving the Royals from KC Cucaracha. According to KCTV5, the superhero helped a woman who had her purse stolen from the villain, took a trip to LegoLand to stop a burglary and even helped chase KC Cucaracha away from Sporting KC practice.

The biggest event of the day, however, was stopping KC Cucaracha and freeing the Royals’ mascot, Sluggerrr.

As you can see from the team’s tweets and Vine, Muchacho de Hierro saved the day.

Mets Accidentally Send out General Manager’s Credit Card Number to Press

Well, this is awkward.

According to Adam Rubin of ESPNNewYork.com, a staff member of the New York Mets accidentally sent out general manager Sandy Alderson’s credit card information to the New York press. The staff member intended to send the information to get tickets for a Broadway show.

Fortunately, the mistake was quickly caught and the information didn’t spread to anyone except the media members.

Dad Catches Foul Ball While Holding Daughter at Detroit Tigers Game

Parents get pretty good at multitasking as they raise their children, and that might have ended up helping this guy.

During a game at Comerica Park between the Minnesota Twins and Detroit Tigers on Saturday, a dad caught a foul ball one-handed while holding his daughter, drawing cheers from the home crowd. You can see a video of the impressive catch below.

Former 22-year MLB slugger Jim Thome got the opportunity to throw out the opening pitch at the brand new Charlotte Knights stadium.

There must have been a reason he was a designated hitter for most of the end of his career. 

Thome’s pitch was terrible, and the fans seemed to be pretty disappointed.

Cincinnati Reds center fielder Billy Hamilton is already considered the fasest player in Major League Baseball, but how does he compare to someone like Deion Sanders?

MLB Tonight made the video above comparing Hamilton and Sanders on the basepaths after hitting a triple. Hamilton was able to beat Sanders by a fraction of a second.

Mets’ Ike Davis Hits Walk-off Grand Slam vs. Reds

The New York Mets were down 3-2 against the Cincinnati Reds when Ike Davis was brought in to pinch hit with the bases loaded in the bottom of the ninth.

Davis didn’t take much time at the plate, crushing a walk-off grand slam to right field on the second pitch of the at-bat.

The Mets won 6-3 to move to 2-3 on the year.
