Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger may not be allowed to take batting practice at PNC Park anymore after what happened before a recent Pittsburgh Pirates game.

Pirates pitching coach Ray Searage found himself in a tough spot when Roethlisberger took batting practice. Searage was looking the other way in the outfield when the quarterback hit a line drive in his direction.

When a baseball is heading your way but you have no idea where it is, you have a couple of options. You can stand still and protect yourself, or you can get out of the way.

Searage went with the former, because how slim were the chances that the ball would actually hit him?

Unfortunately for the Pirates coach, the ball found him.

It doesn’t look like Searage was hurt by the ball, so he can just laugh it off and watch it on the blooper reel.
